1. Not wearing sunscreen year-round. You get UV sun damage while driving , indoors near windows or just walking down the street. So wear a moisturizer with a sunscreen or mineral foundation 365 days a year, rain or shine. Gardening? wear a cute, large brim hat for extra protection. Remember, the #1 cause of wrinkles is sun exposure, keep them away.
2. Washing your face with bar soap. Over-the-counter soap bars have an alkaline pH making them dehydrating. As you over-dry the skin, you create surface dry skin cell buildup. Gels or creamy cleansers are better choices.
3. Not washing your face at night. It happens to all of us, we’re tired or just get lazy. At night our skin regenerates and it’s the perfect opportunity to nourish it. Air pollutants along with germs and dirt need to washed away. Night-night.
4. Not exfoliating. The best way to allow those wonderful products to penetrate is by removing the top dead layers, no hard feelings, they’re dead! Imagine removing the outer dry part of an onion and exposing the fresh- just like that.
